Woodgrain bike frame

For over 40 years Rob Pollock has been perfecting the art of faux woodgraining. Traditionally used in the restoration of classic cars and vintage hot rods, Rob has applied this technique to custom bike frames. Each frame is hand painted by Rob himself and finished with two pot epoxy resin to give a hard durable finish.

About us

The idea of a website where the overload of creative material on the internet would be filtered, aroused in late 2010. Not a renewing idea on itself, but Defringe is different. Defringe stands for quality and that results in the intuitive, comprehensive and award-winning layout.

You might ask yourself what Defringe means. It is a feature in Adobe Photoshop [ Layer > Matting > Defringe ] and literally means: “Blends the pixels along the edge of a selection to seamlessly merge it with a new background”. This sentence captures the essence of the website. Out of hundreds of posts, only the best appear: the ones that fit seamlessly into Defringe’s vision. Our slogan complements the essence: “Cleaning up the edges”. We chop off the raw edges, leaving a clean and neat outcome.

Because of the extraordinary elegance of Defringe, we can’t stay behind in social networks. Facebook and Twitter are essential in our (creative) lives these days. Make sure you follow or like Defringe, so that you are the first one to know about spectacular new posts.

Regards, The Defringe crew.
